I find it disheartening that schools have had such budget constraints that so much is no longer being emphasized in our school system. Being 42 years old, I can recall learning about cotton and its importance in our lives. We were able to study agriculture to a degree and its importance in our society.
It is a tough road… So many choices to be made. I didn’t like taking home ec & wood shop but both have been incredibly useful for me. Really wish education was better resourced and managed.
